Wild Hog Hunting

Thermal Hog Hunting

This Wild Hog Hunt started off slow, but once the deer started moving heavy, the action picked up. Not long after 1am, they spotted a small sounder of pigs. They made the stalk, got in range, and they got big sow. Guide Kaleb scanned for others that might’ve been hit, but nothing turned up.

Later in the night, they found another Wild Hog, but it kept moving and slipped onto another property before we could get on it.

Great group of guys to have out — good laughs and a solid Thermal Hog Hunt.

This week’s Hog Hunt with Guide Kaleb turned into a night to remember. It started slow with only a few deer, but everything changed when we spotted a single Wild Hog off to the side of a Big Sounder. With the wind in our favor, one clean shot dropped it instantly.

Minutes later, five more broke off and came straight to us. The hunters didn’t miss—dropping all five.

Six Hogs down in one field, all within minutes. A perfect night of action and a Thermal Hog Hunt our crew won’t forget.

2 Nights Of Hog Hunting

Night 1:

The first night kicked off strong. Deer were everywhere, and the energy with this group of hunters was electric. While stalking a Single Hog near the treeline, three more stepped out just 50 yards in front of us—and the guys did exactly what they came here to do. All three Pigs went down. The night was filled with jokes, laughter, and stories we won’t forget.

Night 2:

The second night was quieter. We only spotted one Wild Hog, but it stayed on the move and never gave us a clean shot. Even so, there was no shortage of action—we had deer moving all around us, a bobcat came in close, and even a coyote almost gave us a chance before slipping into the trees.

At the end of the day, it wasn’t just about Hunting Hogs—it was about the memories. Two nights in the field with plenty of laughs, good company, and unforgettable moments.

Farm Field on a Full Moon

Photo: Yes The Moon Looked Like The Sun While Hog Hunting @PigProblem

This week, Guide Kaleb led a Father-and-Son Hunting duo on an exciting 2 Night Thermal Hog Hunting adventure.

Night One

Under a bright full moon and cooler temps, the night started with plenty of deer sightings. After a careful stalk, the group located a Sounder of Hogs and successfully harvested two. Later, they spotted another group of Wild Hogs, but it was on neighboring property, so they could only watch from a distance. The crisp breeze and great company made for a memorable first night.

Night Two

The evening kicked off with more deer before the team came across hogs in the second field. Two were secured early on, followed by another quick stalk, though that Hog made it to cover just in time. The rest of the night was quiet, but the father and son left with smiles, already planning their return Hog Hunting Trip next year.

This Hog Hunt also included our Hunting Video Package—stay tuned for the highlight reel coming soon!

Thermal Hog Hunting

Guide Kaleb knew it was going to be a good Hog Hunt from the start — the group brought great energy, and it didn’t take long for things to get exciting. Around midnight, they spotted a Sounder of Hogs tucked into the tall cotton. Visibility was tough, but the crew worked together and locked in on the biggest one of the group.

As the night went on, things slowed down, but the memories didn’t. The crew swapped Hunting stories, shared laughs, and made the kind of connections that remind us why we do this.

It was the perfect example of what Pig Problem Hunts are all about — good people, great moments, and nights you won’t forget.

Hog Hunts In Ga

Guide Kaleb recently headed out for a night of Crop Protection and Hog Hunting with two special guests — his dad and his girlfriend. The night kicked off in an unexpected way when they spotted a Coyote out in the field. Using nothing more than a cell phone and YouTube sounds, Kaleb was able to call it in close, marking a first-ever Coyote Encounter for both him and his dad.

The action slowed for a bit, but the fields were full of deer, keeping the group alert and moving. Eventually, Kaleb noticed a strange Thermal hotspot in the distance. After a quick gear-up at the van and a cautious approach, he discovered two Wild Hogs bedded down in a low spot.

With patience and precision, the team confirmed their target and made a successful approach — leading to another first: Kaleb’s dad harvested his very First Hog.

It was a night full of memories, milestones, and moments this crew won’t forget anytime soon.

Tough Hunting

Tough Hunting

This Hog Hunt had its challenges. A few issues early on, a whole lot of deer in the fields, and by 2:30, the crew called it. No Pigs on the ground.

That’s Hunting, though. We don’t bait. We don’t guarantee. We scout, stalk, and give it everything we’ve got — but sometimes the Hogs win.

Clayton’s Two-Night Hunt with Doug and Jason:

A Wild Success

At Pig Problem Inc., we’re all about delivering an Unforgettable Hog Hunting experience for our Hunters. Guide Capt Clayton recently guided Doug and Jason, two avid outdoorsmen from Wisconsin, on a 2 Night Hog Hunt, and it was an adventure worth sharing.

Night One:

A Quick Strike

Hog Hunting

Photo: Wild Hog Hunting @PigProblem

The first night of the Hog Hunt started with a bit of excitement. After arriving at the first field, Clayton spotted a small group of Wild Pigs, but they quickly spooked as the team was getting set up. Not wanting to let the opportunity slip away, they took a chance with a tried something from about 200-300 yards away—and it paid off. Doug and Jason both connected and successfully brought 2 Pigs in one swift move to a new home. As Peanut Protector Clayton put it, it was “gangster,” showing just how skilled they were. Unfortunately, they didn’t spot any more Pigs that night, but the adrenaline from the initial success made up for it.

Night Two:

The Early Morning Victory

Pig Hunting

The second night, however, was a different kind of challenge. It took Clayton all night to locate the Wild Hogs, but the effort was well worth it. At 5 a.m., he found 3 Hogs, and Doug and Jason were able to successfully tag all three to new homes. According to Clayton, they were “gangster at what they did” and made the Thermal Hunt an absolute pleasure. Not only are they Top-Notch Hunters, but they’re also great people to spend time with—easy-going and fun to be around.

Clayton couldn’t recommend Doug and Jason more, giving them a 10/10 rating for the Thermal Hog Hunt. It’s always a bonus when hunters not only bring their A-game but also make the experience enjoyable for everyone involved.

Hunting In April

Two Nights in the Field with Max and Caleb

April Hunt Recap from Pig Problem

Thermal Hunting

Photo: Thermal Hog Hunting @PigProblem

This past week, Guide Capt Max and our newest team member, Caleb, headed out for a Two-Night Hog Hunt with a great Group of Hunters. Caleb is currently training under Max’s wing, and this Hunting Trip was a perfect opportunity to gain some solid experience in the field. Here’s how it went down.

Night 1:

Weather Delays, But Worth the Wait

Hog Hunting In Georgia

Photo: Hog Hunting @PigProblem

The first night started off slow. The usual signs of activity just weren’t there early on, and before long, the skies opened up with rain and thunder rolling through the area. It looked like we might have to pack it in, but after a bit of patience, the storm passed—and so did our luck.

Not long after the skies cleared, movement picked up. A Single Hog made its way into the Farm Field, and our Hunters were ready. Let’s just say they made the most of the opportunity. That one moment turned the whole night around.

Night 2:

Slow Action, Great Company

Night two was quieter. Wild Hog movement was minimal with only a few coyotes and the occasional deer sighting. Sometimes the Pigs just don’t want to play the game, but that’s part of what makes each Hog Hunt unique.

What the night lacked in action, it made up for in laughs and good company. These Hog Hunters were a great group—stories were shared, jokes were flying, and memories were made. That’s what it’s all about.

Caleb’s doing an awesome job getting up to speed under Max’s guidance, and we’re excited for the future as he becomes part of the regular guide team.

Until next time—stay ready, stay sharp, and we’ll see you in the fields for Thermal Hog Hunting.

Two Nights of Action:

Mario & Harry’s Hog Hunt with Pig Problem

At Pig Problem, we love seeing familiar faces return for another round of Night Hunting action. Longtime Hunters Mario and Harry recently joining us again for a 2 Night Hog Hunt, guided by Capt. Max on the first night and Zev on the second.

Night 1 with Capt. Max

Boar Hunting

Guide Capt Max led the way on the first night, covering plenty of ground in search of Wild Hogs. The conditions were just right, and the night started off strong with a couple of Coyotes spotted and a Solid Boar added to the tally. Mario and Harry know the drill, making for an efficient and enjoyable Hog Hunt.

Night 2 with Zev

Pig Hunting

Zev took over on the second night, and the streak continued with two more Hogs found. He had nothing but good things to say about Mario and Harry, calling them “cool dudes” who made the experience a great one. The night had an unexpected twist, though—on the way back, a flat tire slowed things down, and a loose brake caliper made for a bit more work than planned. But no worries, just another Hunting Adventure on the road!

These two nights were a great reminder of why we do what we do. The right company, solid Hunting Guides, and the thrill of Thermal Hunting always make for a memorable experience. Looking forward to seeing Mario and Harry back out Wild Hog Hunting again soon!
