Guided Hog Hunting in Georgia

Summer Hunting In Georgia

Guide Kaleb recently led an unforgettable two-night Thermal Hog Hunt filled with action, laughs, and surprises.

Thermal Coyote Hunts

Night 1 started slow, but things quickly picked up. The group spotted a Group of Six Pigs that never paused long enough for a clean setup. Not long after, a Massive Bobcat wandered through the field—followed by a surprise visit from a curious Coyote. The team made a long, patient stalk and took a chance at over 200 yards. As the night wound down, the skies lit up with what Kaleb described as the biggest comet he’s ever seen. Wild stories and laughter wrapped up the night.

Night 2 brought results. Kaleb called this pair of Hunters some of the best he’s guided—nonstop jokes and good energy. After checking a few empty fields, they moved to a large peanut field where Kaleb, spotting from above, saw a Lone Pig—then, moments later, a whole Sounder in the distance. The team opted to go for the group and made a stalk of over 1,000 yards. Their patience paid off, landing two Wild Hogs and a third hit that got away. After plenty of photos and laughs, they packed out nearly all the meat themselves. The rest of the night was quiet, aside from some deer and coyotes chasing mice.

This Wild Hog Hunt was full of everything that makes Hog Hunting what it is—strategy, surprises, and great company. And according to the guys, they’ll definitely be back.

Guide Kaleb led a determined crew on a 2 Night Hog Hunt packed with action and persistence.

Night one brought a few close encounters. After a careful stalk on a Lone Hog, all three Hog Hunters connected—but the smart Boar made a quick escape into the treeline. Later, a Sounder was spotted on the move, but they crossed into an area out of reach. The rest of the night was full of deer sightings and high spirits.

Night two was a different story. Right at dusk, a Big Sow stepped into the field. A clean approach led to a solid harvest. Later, they crossed paths with the same Small Sounder from the night before—this time getting the upper hand and picking up two more Wild Hogs to end the Thermal Hog Hunt.

Slower movement capped off the night, but the hunters stayed sharp and positive. Kaleb said it best—great attitudes, great aim, and a Thermal Hunt to remember.

Boar Hunting In Georgia

Guide Kaleb recently had the pleasure of welcoming back Nick and his son Gary for a redo Hog Hunt — and this time, the night delivered.

Things kicked off with a field full of coyotes, but the focus was on finding Wild Hogs, so the crew stayed patient. As the night rolled on, they saw plenty of deer and a few more coyotes, but still no Pigs. After a couple of setups with no luck, they loaded back into the van and moved on to a new field.

At first, it looked like just one lone deer in the distance — until it bolted. That’s when Kaleb spotted what they’d been waiting for: a Big Boar moving through the moonlit field.

With the full moon shining bright, the group made a quiet 500-yard stalk to get into range. As the Hog began moving toward them, everything lined up. The crew stayed steady, and when the moment came, they landed a clean success.

The energy was high, and the excitement was real — especially after their previous Thermal Hog Hunt turned up empty. Nick and Gary were all smiles and already talking about coming back again. It was a night full of hard work, patience, and unforgettable Hunting Memories.

Night 2 Recap

Thermal Hog Hunting

Photo: Success @PigProblem

Night two of the Hog Hunt with Guide Kaleb brought smoother action and a bit of early excitement.

After heading into the second Farm Field of the night, the team quickly spotted a Sounder moving through the area. With conditions just right, the group had a clean setup and made the most of the opportunity. Two Wild Hogs were successfully recovered and to new homes, with signs that a few others had moved off after the initial engagement.

The rest of the night settled down, with the only movement coming from curious deer crossing through the fields. Even with things going quiet after that first encounter, it was a solid night of Thermal Hog Hunting and a good reminder that anything can happen out here—sometimes fast, sometimes slow.

Stay tuned for more updates from the field as Kaleb and the crew continue Tracking Hogs through the South Georgia Farmland under the cover of night.

Night Hunt Recap

Night 1 with Guide Kaleb

Our latest Wild Hog Hunt kicked off with Guide Kaleb leading the way on a 2-Night Hog Hunt—and night one was anything but dull.

Things started out a little rocky. They had a bit of a hiccup right out of the gate after bumping the first hog of the night. But with persistence and patience, the crew pushed forward and quickly turned the night around.

Soon after, they spotted a Lone Hog just 20 feet from the van—an up-close encounter that got everyone’s adrenaline pumping. With the Thermal locked in and the team moving quietly, the stalk was on.

The action didn’t stop there. A little while later, we moved in on a small group of three Wild Hogs. The setup was perfect, and two were successfully recovered by the end of the push.

Despite the early challenge, night one ended on a high note with plenty of excitement and great teamwork. Kaleb kept the group locked in and focused, making sure every move counted.

Stay tuned for the recap of night two—it only gets better from here.

Night 2:

Patience Pays Off

Night 2 of Thermal Hog Hunting brought a bit of a challenge. Luke and Clay split up to cover more Hunting Ground, but overall movement was slow thanks to a storm that had just rolled through. Still, Hank managed to spot some Pigs out in a field and gave Clay a call to bring his group over to my location.

We geared up and set out on a stalk toward the last place I’d seen the Wild Pigs, but when we got there, they were gone. Hank climbed up on a pivot for a better vantage point and finally spotted them again—this time tucked deep into some tall grass. It was too thick for a chance, so they decided to wait it out.

Over an hour passed with no clear opportunity, but patience paid off. Eventually, the Hogs moved out of the grass just enough to give us our window. We took our chance and rehomed three Wild Hogs before the night was over. Farmland protetion completed.

It wasn’t an easy Hog Hunt, but it was a rewarding one. Sometimes, the key is simply staying ready and waiting for that perfect moment.

Navigating the Night:

A Tactical Hog Hunt with Guide Hank

Hog Hunting

At Pig Problem, every Hog Hunt presents new challenges, and our latest 2 Night Hunting Trip was no exception. Guide Hank led a group of five Hunters into the fields, ready for action. While the first night started off slow, patience and strategy paid off in the end.

Hog Hunting In Georgia

One of the biggest hurdles of the night came when we found ourselves surrounded—not by Hogs, but by a large group of deer. Maneuvering through them without spooking the Wild Hog we were after took some careful planning, but our Hog Hunters pulled it off like pros. The reward? A well-earned success and a great chance on a Solid Pig.

Later in the night, around 2 a.m., another target appeared—a Coyote. One of our hunters took the chance, but the tricky Predator managed to escape, leaving no photo evidence behind. Still, the night was a success, and the team is fired up for round two.

Night 2:

Swirling Winds and Quick Shots

Hank’s second Night of Hunting proved to be another success, with two Pigs relocated despite challenging wind conditions.

Pig Hunts

Wild Hog Hunting

The night started with a visit to the second field, where shifting winds threatened to give us away. As we scanned the area, a Wild Hog caught our scent and began to move off. With quick reaction time, we got a chance just as it started to run, having success before it could escape.

Later in the night, we checked one of the last fields on our route and spotted another Pig. Unfortunately, this one winded us and disappeared into the darkness. Not willing to leave empty-handed, we gave the field another look and found a Small Single Hog lingering behind. This time, the wind worked in our favor, allowing us to take the chance and relocate it to a new home cleanly.

Despite tricky conditions, the night ended on a high note with two Wild Pigs on the ground—another productive Wild Hog Hunt with Hank leading the way.

Late-Night Success:

A Two-Night Hog Hunt with Guide Clayton

Hog Hunting is always an adventure, but some Hog Hunts stand out as particularly memorable. That was the case for Glenn and Erik, two Returning Hunters who joined Guide Clayton for another action-packed Two-Night Thermal Hunt with Pig Problem. Having Hunted with Clayton the previous year, they knew they were in for a good time—and the results did not disappoint.

Night One:

Off to a Strong Start

Hog Hunting

Photo: Boar Down @PigProblem

From the start, it was clear that Glenn and Erik were excited to be back in the fields, ready to relocate some Hogs. Their first night out, the trio worked together to track a group of pigs in the fields, using their Thermal Equipment to scan the landscape. With a well-placed chance, they put a solid Wild Boar to a new home, kicking off the Boar Hunt on a high note.

For these guys, it wasn’t just about the Hunt—it was about the experience. Wild Hog Hunting alongside a guide they already knew and trusted made the night feel less like a Guided Hunting Trip and more like a hunt with old friends.

Night Two:

A Hunt to Remember

Wild Hog Hunting

Photo: yesssss @PigProblem

The second night turned into an endurance test, pushing well into the early morning hours. In a now-familiar pattern, the Wild Hog Hunt stretched all the way to 5 AM, proving once again that patience and persistence pay off in Thermal Hog Hunting.

The wind was not in their favor, blowing directly toward the Pigs from the van. Knowing they had to adjust their strategy, Clayton and the Hunters made a quick decision—they booked it across the field in a last-ditch effort to get into a better position. Clayton climbed onto a pivot to get a better vantage point, hoping the Wild Pigs hadn’t moved. Miraculously, they were still right where they had been, offering the perfect opportunity for a clean chance.

But this Thermal Hunt wasn’t just about strategy and skill—it also came with some unexpected humor. As the team settled into position, the silence of the night was suddenly interrupted. One of the Hunters, unintentionally lightened the mood, causing a brief but hilarious pause in the action. Holding in their laughter was almost as difficult as the stalk itself, but once they regained composure, they got back to business and successfully got two Wild Hogs before the night was over.

The Thrill of the Hunt

For Glenn and Erik, we hope this Hunting Trip was more than just another Pig Hunt—it was a chance to return to the fields, enjoy the challenge, and create new memories. For Clayton, it was another reminder of why he loves Guiding Hunts. He might joke that luck plays a big role in his success, but his ability to adapt, make quick decisions, and keep the hunt fun and engaging is what keeps Hog Hunters coming back year after year.

These two hunters have already made it clear—they’ll be back next year for another Unforgettable Hunt. Until then, the Farm Fields of Georgia will keep calling, and the hogs will keep running. But not for long.

Precision Hog Hunting in Americus, Georgia

Hog Hunting in Georgia is always exciting, but when a group of skilled marksmen takes the field, the results can be truly impressive. Over two nights, Guide Hank led a pair of Hunters on a successful Thermal Hog Hunt with Pig Problem, putting their long-range shooting skills to the test.

Night One:

A Strong Start

Predator Hunting

The Night Hunt began with an incredible 300-yard shot on a coyote, proving these Snipper Hunters were dialed in and ready for action. After hearing more Coyotes Howling in the distance, they attempted several calls, but none were willing to come out into the open.

Morning Fog

The Pig Hunt continued as the group set their sights on Wild Hogs. A Pig presented a difficult chance through thick brush, but they took their chance. Before the night ended, heavy fog rolled in, making further Hunting impossible. Even with the challenges, the night ended on a high note with both 2 Coyotes Down - clear signs of success.

Night Two:

Long-Range Precision

Wild Hog Hunting

The second night was all about accuracy and patience. The Hunters spotted a group of hogs at 300 yards and lined up their chance. With two Wild Pigs relocated to new home - a sight that Hank described as incredible to watch.

Hog Hunting

As the night continued, they focused on calling for coyotes, but none responded. Instead, they shifted their attention to one last field and found another group of hogs. Moving in carefully, they got into position, but the Wild Hogs had the high ground. After the first chance, the rest of the Sounder vanished, making follow-up chances impossible. Even so, the night was another success, with three Hogs Down and a display of Outstanding Marksmanship.

Guide Clay txted Hank and raised a poignant question: “Is it God’s plan to not find any Pigs?” Hank, ever the optimist, replied that perhaps God was teaching them patience. Just as the night seemed to drag on, at 3:30 AM, Hank spotted a Lone Pig less than 200 yards from the van on the treeline. After a stealthy approach, they successfully took down the Hog with ease.
