Planting Season is one of the most important times of year for Farmers in South Georgia—and it’s also one of the most vulnerable times for crops. That’s where Pig Problem Inc steps in, and recently, two Hog Hunters from Atlanta, Ga made the trip south to do their part.

Led by Peanut Protector Guide Capt Clayton, the group set out under the stars with one goal in mind: to help local farmers protect their fields. Clayton described the pair as laid-back, respectful, and enjoyable company.

The night started strong as the team located a small Group of Hogs and made quick work of the opportunity, successfully reducing the number causing damage. A few slipped into the tree line, but the group stayed sharp and kept moving.

Later in the night, they encountered another small Sounder and were able to follow up with more success, again preventing further Crop Destruction. With clear skies and calm conditions, Clayton called it one of the easier nights he’s had in a while.

The teamwork, good attitudes, and steady effort made for an efficient and rewarding experience—not just for the Hunters, but for the Local Farms relying on support during critical planting windows.

Late-Night Laughter and a Hog to Remember

Tingbi Hunt With Guide Clayton

Hog Hunting

Guide Clayton recently wrapped up a memorable Thermal Hog Hunt with Pig Problem, and it was one for the books. The evening kicked off like many others—Thermal ready, everything zeroed in, and anticipation in the air but the Hog Hunt quickly turned into a story no one will forget.

The target was a large, Sow that just didn’t want to be rehomed. After several chances, she kept running away through the field. It took over alot but there is always sucess on the other end—an absolute tank of a Wild Hog that didn’t give up without a fight. We don’t understand why they don’t like to be re-homed.

But what made the night even more unforgettable was the reaction from Tingbi. Normally calm, lighthearted, and always cracking jokes, Tingbi let out his first-ever curse word mid-hunt, catching Clayton completely off guard. “I couldn’t stop laughing,” Clayton said. “It was the first time I’ve heard Tingbi cuss, and it made the whole situation even funnier.”

It was a Wild Night of Hunting that was full of laughter, adrenaline, and the kind of memories that stick with you long after the sun comes up. While this may be Tingbi’s last Wild Hog Hunt for a while, this one will be talked about for seasons to come.

One Night with Guide Hank:

A Successful Thermal Hog Hunt

Hog Hunting

At Pig Problem Inc, we’re always excited to help our guests experience the thrill of Thermal Hog Hunting — and last night was no exception. Guided by Hank, our group had a fantastic evening out in the Farm Fields of South Georgia.

The action started early. Right on the first field of the night, we located a Sounder of Wild Hogs. With a little maneuvering around a nearby irrigation pivot, the group was able to get into a great position. Thanks to some careful planning and teamwork, we had a strong encounter, making solid connections and having immediate success.

While the rest of the night was quieter, the early opportunities made it a memorable Hog Hunt. Hank said it best:

Pigs weren’t a problem tonight. We got on them early and made it a good one.”

We’re proud of how the evening unfolded — it’s always about being in the right place, reading the Planted Field, and making the most of each opportunity. Every Wild Hog Hunt is different, but with a little patience and the right strategy, it always leads to a rewarding Hunting Experience.

Thank you to everyone who came out with us! If you’re ready for your own night of Thermal Hunting adventure, book your Hunting Trip with Pig Problem today — and come see why South Georgia is one of the best places for wild hog hunting.

Tracking Down Success:

A Two-Night Hunt with Guide Clayton

Photo: Hunting Wild Hogs @PigProblem

Hog Hunting is never guaranteed—that’s why they’re Wild Hogs. Every Hog Hunt is different, and sometimes, success comes down to patience, persistence, and putting in the work.

Guide Capt Clayton recently led a 2 Night Hog Hunt that was the perfect example of this. The first night was quiet, with no Hogs in sight despite hours of searching and covering plenty of ground. But that’s part of the challenge—some nights the Pigs move, and some nights they don’t.

The second night, everything changed. After scanning the fields and staying on the move, the team finally spotted a group of eight hogs. It was exactly what they had been looking for, and after making their move, they had the proof of a Successful Hunt.

No matter what you’re Hunting, success isn’t always measured by the number —it’s about finding what you came for. The challenge, the chase, and the reward of a hard-earned recovery are what make Wild Hog Hunting so exciting.

At Pig Problem Inc, we know every Guided Hog Hunt tells a different story. Ready to see what yours will be? Book a Thermal Hunt and experience it for yourself!

Late-Night Action:

A One-Night Hog Hunt with Guide Clayton

At Pig Problem, we see all kinds of Hog Hunts—some quick and easy, others that turn into an all-night pursuit. On a recent 1 Night Thermal Hog Hunt, Guide Clayton led a group of Hunters who were eager, ready, and, most importantly, willing to listen. That combination usually leads to success, and this Wild Hog Hunt was no exception.

The Night of Hunting started with two go-arounds. The first encounter was a Single Hog, a good warm-up for the group to get dialed in with their pew pews and Thermal. They executed perfectly, making a clean shot and getting their first Hog Down.

But the real excitement came later. At around 2 a.m., Clayton spotted a Sounder of Pigs moving through the fields. This was the moment the group had been waiting for. With precision and patience, they followed Clayton’s guidance, setting up for a well-coordinated shot. When the green light was given, chaos erupted as Multiple Hogs Dropped in the field.

Clayton had nothing but good things to say about this group. “Guys were super easy and listened to everything I said,” he noted. That attention to detail paid off, as they walked away with a successful night of Hog Control and an Unforgettable Hunting Experience.

2 Night Hog Hunting

Wild Hog Hunt With Guide Capt. Clayton's

This past weekend, we had the pleasure of hosting a dynamic group of four Hunters for a thrilling 2 Night Hog Hunt led by the one and only Capt. Clayton. As the sun set over the South Georgia fields, the excitement in the air was palpable. Our Hog Hunters were ready for the challenge that awaited them—Hunting Wild Hogs under the cloak of darkness.

Night 1: A Taste of the Hunt

Photo: Down Piggie @PigProblem

The first night kicked off with a flurry of anticipation. Our group kicked into gear and quickly found a small Sounder of four Wild Pigs. They were able to bring one down, but as we all know, Pigs can be unpredictable! The rest of the group scurried away, leaving our Hunters with a mix of excitement and determination. After, they spotted a Single Pig in the distance. However, despite their best efforts, shots were fired, but the Lone Hog escaped unscathed.

The laughter and camaraderie shared among the group turned the frustrations of missed opportunities into lighthearted banter. These guys were genuinely funny, making the night as entertaining as it was thrilling. With a signature farewell, “Goodnight, starshine! Until tomorrow night,” everyone headed off to rest up for another day.

Night 2: The Lone Boar

Photo: Redemption @PigProblem

The second night started off a bit slower because no one was stripping clothes. For some reason Hogs like that. But, the group kept their spirits high, sharing jokes and funny stories as they navigated the night. Finally, around 3:30 a.m., Capt. Clayton spotted a Solitary Boar all by himself. This was the moment they had been waiting for!

With precision and teamwork, they executed the Hog Hunt and swiftly put an end to the boar's lonely life. The thrill of the chase mixed with their shared excitement transformed the night into a memorable conclusion of their adventure.

Embracing the Challenges of Hog Hunting

Hog Hunting is a unique experience that differs significantly from other forms of Hunting. Stalking Wild Hogs in complete darkness presents its own set of challenges: getting close without being detected, aiming accurately at animals that move swiftly, and navigating terrain. With skin that’s tough as armor and the ability to run at speeds up to 20 miles per hour, taking down a Wild Hog is no simple task.

It's easy to underestimate the complexity involved until you're in the thick of it. Mastering The Art of Hunting Wild Hogs requires time, practice, and experience. Unless your name is Megan. Megan’s are just naturally good at everything.

Go Dawgs!... I Mean Hogs

Guide Hank recounted last nights Wild Hog Hunting excursion where he led a group on a Successful Hunt. Despite facing multiple challenges, they managed to take down one Pig after taking several shots at a Sounder. It took some time for the Wild Hogs to move into a favorable position, allowing them to approach within 100 yards.

A humorous moment ensued when it appeared that one of the Wild Pigs, perhaps a fan of the Georgia Bulldogs, decided to pose for a quick picture session, borrowing a hat before the Hunters could claim their prize. Ultimately, they were able to Harvest The Pork they were after, for a Successful Hunt.

Deer season is finally over!!! We love when Deer Season is over because there is Deer Hunters that Hunt on most of the properties we Hog Hunt. Which means we have to leave different fields at certian times so we don’t interfer with someones Deer Hunt. Last Night Wiid Hogs were everywhere. They had 5 Hog encounters, but we could not stack them up. Grateful to take Micheal, Max, & Nate Hog Hunting. They have been Hunting with Capt Max since the beginning of Pig Problem and we are grateful to have them back!

Kyle Dropped a Wild Boar

Kyle came out for a short hunt after driving back home all day from NC. We hit a few fields and saw some wild hogs but couldn’t close the distance. We found one in a smoke filled peanut field and put this boar down quick and easy. Kyle called Pig Problem Inc. for some land management work to rid his property of wild Hogs. We feel its important to show Land owners, Farmers, and Hunting Leases what and how we do things.
