Thermal Hog Hunting In Georgia

Night 2 of this Georgia Thermal Hog Hunt with Guide Clay was simple, clean, and exactly how a good stalk is supposed to feel.

After covering fields throughout the night, Clay and his hunters finally located a single hog moving alone. Lone pigs are some of the most unpredictable animals in the field — they travel differently, react differently, and don’t always hold still like larger sounders do.

Still, the team moved in quietly, using the wind and terrain to their advantage. A steady, patient approach put them right where they needed to be, and before long, the single was successfully taken — a solid ending to a Hog Hunt that required focus and good teamwork.

That’s the beauty of Hog Hunting in Georgia:
Some nights are fast-paced sounders, and some come down to a single animal and a perfectly executed stalk. Both are equally rewarding, and both highlight why Thermal Night Hunting is one of the most thrilling experiences outdoors.

Another successful night in the books with Guide Clay and Pig Problem — professional guides, real Thermal Gear, and Wild Hog Hunts that always bring something different.

Hunting Wild Hogs In Georgia

Guide Hank led a one-night Thermal Hog Hunt that reminded everyone how quickly things can change in the field.

The night had been quiet until just around midnight, when the team was driving through a wooded stretch and suddenly spotted a Sounder of Pigs about 200 yards out. They stopped fast, geared up, and got ready to make a move.

The wind was shifting along the treeline — never a good sign — and Hank knew that hesitation could send the pigs running. So, in a quick and decisive moment, he adjusted the team’s position and turned a surprise encounter into a successful outcome.

That’s what Hog Hunting in Georgia is all about — patience, timing, and adapting to whatever the night throws your way.

At Pig Problem, we don’t sit and wait. We move, stalk, and strategize to give our hunters the most exciting and ethical Thermal Hog Hunting experience in Georgia. Every night brings something new — new challenges, new lessons, and new memories made under the stars.

Another great night in the books with Guide Hank and his hunters. 🌙

Hunting Isn’t Guaranteed

Coyote Hunting In South Ga

Photo: G O O G L E doesnt like pics of cool things… also this Coyote looks like a WEREWOLF @PIGPROBLEM

Guide Wes recently led a 2 Night Hog Hunt with a great crew. The first night brought in a Coyote, but the second night didn’t turn up any Wild Pigs. And while we’d love to find Hogs every time we roll up to a field, the truth is: Hunting is NEVER Guaranteed—and it never will be.

If it were easy, it might not be as rewarding. Finding Pigs comes down to being in the right field at the right time. These animals are smart. They adapt. And they know they’re being hunted. In Georgia, Wild Hogs are the most targeted species out there—every Farmer either has a Hog Problem or knows someone who does.

When pigs feel the pressure, they shift their patterns to survive. But we know they’re still out there. They may not move through the same fields every night, but they almost always bed in the same places. One sow can have 10 to 30 piglets each year. That’s a fast-growing population—one that’s always on the move.

At Pig Problem, we know it takes more than luck. It takes patience, timing, and strategy. We’ll be ready when they come back through.

Late-Night Laughter and a Hog to Remember

Tingbi Hunt With Guide Clayton

Hog Hunting

Photo: Got It Done @PigProblem

Guide Clayton recently wrapped up a memorable Thermal Hog Hunt with Pig Problem, and it was one for the books. The evening kicked off like many others—Thermal ready, everything zeroed in, and anticipation in the air but the Hog Hunt quickly turned into a story no one will forget.

The target was a large, Sow that just didn’t want to be rehomed. After several chances, she kept running away through the field. It took over alot but there is always sucess on the other end—an absolute tank of a Wild Hog that didn’t give up without a fight. We don’t understand why they don’t like to be re-homed.

But what made the night even more unforgettable was the reaction from Tingbi. Normally calm, lighthearted, and always cracking jokes, Tingbi let out his first-ever curse word mid-hunt, catching Clayton completely off guard. “I couldn’t stop laughing,” Clayton said. “It was the first time I’ve heard Tingbi cuss, and it made the whole situation even funnier.”

It was a Wild Night of Hunting that was full of laughter, adrenaline, and the kind of memories that stick with you long after the sun comes up. While this may be Tingbi’s last Wild Hog Hunt for a while, this one will be talked about for seasons to come.

Two Nights of Hogs, Coyotes, and Good Times

A Hunt to Remember

Guide Hank led the charge on a 2 Night Hog Hunt packed with action, laughs, and a few surprises. From spotting a massive group of pigs just out of reach to chasing one determined hog over a hill, this trip had all the makings of a classic Pig Problem Adventure.

Night One:

Off to a Strong Start

Hog Hunting

The Hog Hunt kicked off with success in the very first field. We got into motion on a Sounder and walked away with three pigs in new homes. After gathering the everything, we continued the search—covering ground and scanning fields through thermal equipment.

At one point, we spotted a huge group of hogs, but they were just beyond our boundary. Still, watching them move through the fields was a thrill in itself. As the night wound down, we managed to add one more unexpected bonus to the list—a Coyote spotted and tracked before heading back in for the night.

Night Two:

One Hog, One Hill, and a Lot of Laughs

Boar Hunting

The second night brought a change of pace. As Hank put it, “What’s better than beer and hot glass?” (he is talking about Americus Ga Beer Fest) While there may be a few contenders, it’s hard to top a good night under the stars Thermal Hunting.

We ended up working for a Single Pig that didn’t get re-homed easy. It made a break for it over a hill, and we followed with a mix of anticipation and excitement, not knowing what we’d find. Sure enough, the effort paid off—we found our prize and got some great photos to wrap up the night. Very thankful to relocate this Piggy.

Another Successful Adventure

This Wild Hog Hunt had everything: quick action, good people, great laughs, and the kind of moments that stick with you long after the night ends. Whether you’re Hunting Pigs or just soaking in the full experience, a Hunt with Pig Problem always delivers.

Hog Hunting

Photo: Wild Hog Hunts @PigProblem

At Pig Problem, no two Hog Hunts are ever the same. Some nights are nonstop action, and other nights put a hunter’s patience and determination to the test. On a recent One Night Hunt, Guide Clayton and his Hunters experienced both sides of the coin - proving that in the world of Thermal Hog Hunting, persistence is key.

One and Done

The night started with promise. The hunters got their chance, and put one Hog in the van to go to a new home. But after that, the fields went quiet. They covered ground, checked all the usual hotspots, and worked hard to track down more Pigs, but sometimes, the Wild Hogs just don’t want to cooperate. That’s the nature of Wild Hog Hunting - every night brings new conditions, and the challenge is what makes the reward even better.

The Thrill of the Hunt

Some nights, the Wild Pigs are everywhere. Other nights, they play hard to get. But that’s why we Pig Hunt - because every Hunting Trip is an adventure, and the next one could be the best yet. If you’re ready to test your skills and experience the excitement of Guided Hog Hunting, book your Hunt with Pig Problem today. The pigs won’t stay hidden forever, and when they show up, you’ll want to be there to make it count!

Meanwhile, Guide Hank's night took a different direction. “Very slow night,” Hank reported. Guide Clay txted Hank and raised a poignant question: “Is it God’s plan to not find any Pigs?” Hank, ever the optimist, replied that perhaps God was teaching them patience. Just as the night seemed to drag on, at 3:30 AM, Hank spotted a Lone Pig less than 200 yards from the van on the treeline. After a stealthy approach, they successfully took down the Hog with ease. Here’s the moment captured in a photo:

Nighttime Adventures at Pig Problem

A Memorable Evening of Hog Hunting

Last night at Pig Problem was nothing short of exhilarating, as two groups set out on their 1 Night Hog Hunts. Guided by the experienced Guide Capt. Max and Guide Capt. Clayton, the Hog Hunters were eager to test their skills in the field.

Guide Capt. Max's Hunt: A Foggy Foray

Under the cover of mist and fog, Guide Capt. Max led his group through the night. Despite the challenging weather conditions, the Wild Hogs were abundant in every field they explored. With keen eyes and steady hands, the Hunters successfully tracked down two Wild Hogs, capturing the thrill of the Hog Hunt amidst the eerie landscape. The hunt showcased both the beauty of nature and the adrenaline rush that comes with pursuing game.

Guide Capt. Clayton's Hunt: A Dramatic Encounter

Meanwhile, Peanut Protector Guide Capt. Clayton's group had an equally memorable experience, albeit with a different twist. They stumbled upon a Solitary Pig in the very first field they entered and swiftly executed their shot with precision. Guide Clayton humorously described the takedown as “a 600lbs person falling from a plane without a parachute.” It was a sight to behold, and although the rest of the night yielded no further sightings, the excitement of that first encounter left an indelible mark.

Here’s a glimpse of Clayton’s epic discovery:
