Best Georgia Boar Hunts

Thermal Boar Hunting

Night 1

The Hog Hunt began under light rain with little movement in sight. As the weather cleared, deer began to appear, but still no sign of Wild Hogs. Spirits started to dip, but just after 4 AM, the guide spotted a Lone Boar rooting along the field’s edge. With wind in their favor and clouds covering the moon, it was the perfect setup for a silent approach. The group got into position, and the Wild Boar got a picture. Excitement was high, and the Hog Hunters were thrilled to finally have their moment.

Night 2

The second night was calm and clear, with a bright moon lighting up the fields. Deer were everywhere once again, and while no Pigs showed, a curious Coyote made things interesting. The guide attempted to call it in, but the coyote circled and caught their scent before disappearing. Even without a harvest, the night was full of stories, laughs, and memories under the stars. The hunters were a fantastic group to share this Thermal Hog Hunt with, and both nights of Hog Hunting will be ones to remember.

Boar Hunting In Georgia

Guide Kaleb recently had the pleasure of welcoming back Nick and his son Gary for a redo Hog Hunt — and this time, the night delivered.

Things kicked off with a field full of coyotes, but the focus was on finding Wild Hogs, so the crew stayed patient. As the night rolled on, they saw plenty of deer and a few more coyotes, but still no Pigs. After a couple of setups with no luck, they loaded back into the van and moved on to a new field.

At first, it looked like just one lone deer in the distance — until it bolted. That’s when Kaleb spotted what they’d been waiting for: a Big Boar moving through the moonlit field.

With the full moon shining bright, the group made a quiet 500-yard stalk to get into range. As the Hog began moving toward them, everything lined up. The crew stayed steady, and when the moment came, they landed a clean success.

The energy was high, and the excitement was real — especially after their previous Thermal Hog Hunt turned up empty. Nick and Gary were all smiles and already talking about coming back again. It was a night full of hard work, patience, and unforgettable Hunting Memories.

Some nights just feel promising from the start — especially when you’re welcoming back repeat clients you’ve built a bond with. Guide Kaleb knew it was going to be a good one.

After getting word from Max that a nearby field was seeing fresh Wild Hog activity, the group made the hour-long ride to check it out. Things started off slow with only a few deer moving through, but around 1 a.m., they spotted their first Hog — a Lone Boar working through the field. The setup was easy, just steps from the van, and the team handled it quickly.

Back on the Hog Hunt shortly after, they located a group of three more Pigs not far off. A brief 50-yard approach was all it took, and the team moved efficiently to secure two of them while the third made it to the tree line.

With the clock pushing 4 a.m., Kaleb was ready to wrap things up and began Field Butchering. But just as they approached the drop-off site, one more Big Boar appeared. The crew didn’t miss a beat — a final short stalk sealed the night.

Kaleb finished Butchering just before sunrise, ending a long but rewarding night. “These are truly some of the best guys I’ve had,” he said. “Can’t wait to have them back.”

The photos from the Wild Hog Hunt say it all — memories made, fields checked, and another successful night in the books with Pig Problem.

Georgia Hog Hunting

Pig Problem

Two Nights of Hogs, Coyotes, and Good Times

A Hunt to Remember

Guide Hank led the charge on a 2 Night Hog Hunt packed with action, laughs, and a few surprises. From spotting a massive group of pigs just out of reach to chasing one determined hog over a hill, this trip had all the makings of a classic Pig Problem Adventure.

Night One:

Off to a Strong Start

Hog Hunting

Photo: Georgia Hunting @PigProblem

The Hog Hunt kicked off with success in the very first field. We got into motion on a Sounder and walked away with three pigs in new homes. After gathering the everything, we continued the search—covering ground and scanning fields through thermal equipment.

At one point, we spotted a huge group of hogs, but they were just beyond our boundary. Still, watching them move through the fields was a thrill in itself. As the night wound down, we managed to add one more unexpected bonus to the list—a Coyote spotted and tracked before heading back in for the night.

Night Two:

One Hog, One Hill, and a Lot of Laughs

Boar Hunting

The second night brought a change of pace. As Hank put it, “What’s better than beer and hot glass?” (he is talking about Americus Ga Beer Fest) While there may be a few contenders, it’s hard to top a good night under the stars Thermal Hunting.

We ended up working for a Single Pig that didn’t get re-homed easy. It made a break for it over a hill, and we followed with a mix of anticipation and excitement, not knowing what we’d find. Sure enough, the effort paid off—we found our prize and got some great photos to wrap up the night. Very thankful to relocate this Piggy.

Another Successful Adventure

This Wild Hog Hunt had everything: quick action, good people, great laughs, and the kind of moments that stick with you long after the night ends. Whether you’re Hunting Pigs or just soaking in the full experience, a Hunt with Pig Problem always delivers.

Hunting isn’t easy, and this Hog Hunt was no exception. The night was long, and the Hogs weren’t making it simple. But Clayton put in the work, covering ground, scanning fields, and adjusting tactics to get them on Pigs.

Hunting Pigs In Georgia

Pig Problem

Two Nights in Georgia with Guided by Capt Clayton

Hunting is unpredictable. Some nights, the Pigs are everywhere. Other nights, it’s just you, the fields, and the waiting game. This past 2 Night Thermal Hunt with Guide Capt Clayton had a little bit of everything - some frustration, some bad luck, and ultimately, a couple of successful chances.

Night One:

Wild Hog Hunting

Photo: One Hog Down @PigProblem

The first night out was slow. Real slow. Just one Wild Pig spotted all night long. A Coyote and a Possum crossed our path, but now they can’t do that anymore... The one Hog that did show up didn’t make it out either. Clayton wasn’t feeling his best, and by the end of the night, the only thing on my mind was hoping he wouldn’t wake up sick.

Night Two:

Guided Hog Hunting

Photo: Got Em @PigProblem

The Hog Hunt started with a different kind of loss - Guide Claytons $400 ear protection. After searching high and low, finally he found them… in the washing machine. So now, he gets to spend another $400 replacing something he already had. Gotta love it.

As for the Wild Hog Hunt, the Pigs weren’t exactly cooperative. Only one showed up on there side, and he was sound asleep when they found him. He didn’t stay that way for long. A quick wake-up call, and he was down for good. Meanwhile, the Thermal picked up a whole group of hogs in an orchard where they couldn't step foot. All we could do was watch as they did what Wild Hogs do best - eat and cause destruction.

Pigs In A Pecan Orchard

Photo: These Pigs Were Very Lucky and Full Of Pecans… @PigProblem

Now, back home, Peanut Protector Guide Capt Clayton was winding down with some YouTube gum videos, keeping him entertained, and calling it a wrap on another Thermal Hunt. Some nights are packed with action, others test your patience - but that’s the way it goes in the world of thermal hog hunting.

Hogs rehomed & Sheds Found

At Pig Problem, we don’t just take you Hog Hunting - we take you on a Hunting Adventure. Whether it’s Spotting Wild Hogs through Thermal Equipment, sneaking through fields under the cover of darkness, or stumbling across unexpected treasures, every Hog Hunt has a story.

Recently, Guide Capt Clayton led a 1 Night Hog Hunt for three Hunters who made the trip down to Americus, Georgia, to experience the thrill of Thermal Hunting. And let’s just say, the night did not disappoint.

Three Hunters, Three Hogs

Hog Hunting

Photo: Hogs Down @PigProblem

Photo: I Think He’s Blind @PigProblem

Right from the start, these guys were locked in. After a solid game plan and some patient stalking, they got into position and let the thing that relocates the Hogs do the talking. The results? Three Wild Hogs rehomed - two in one setup and another on a separate stalk. That’s the kind of action we love to see.

Of course, a Wild Hog Hunt isn’t just about the chances fired. It’s about the entire experience, and this night had a little bonus surprise waiting in the fields.

A Lucky Find:

Shed Hunting Bonus

Photo: Deer Shed @PigProblem

While leading the group on one of their Hunting Stalks, Clayton spotted something unexpected - a freshly shed deer antler. If you’ve ever Hunted the South, you know how exciting it is to find a good shed out in the wild. It’s a reminder of just how much life moves through these fields beyond the Pigs.

Photo: Clay Is Into Wierd Things… @PigProblem

As it turns out, Clayton has a knack for finding these hidden gems. Over the years, he’s collected quite a few sheds, and to prove it, he showed off a few of his past finds in a way only Clayton can - balancing them on his head like a big ol buck.

Thermal Hog Hunting Adventures in Georgia

Photo: They Got One!! @PigProblem

When it comes to Hog Hunting, few experiences rival the thrill of chasing Wild Hogs under the cover of darkness with state-of-the-art Thermal Technology. At PigProblem, Inc., our mission is to provide a Hunting Adventure while helping farmers control the destructive wild hog population that wreaks havoc on their land.

Guide Clayton recently wrapped up a 2 Night Hog Hunt, where he and his group took to the fields of South Georgia for a chance to bag Wild Hogs. While these clever animals put up quite a challenge, the team successfully harvested one Hog during the Hunt. Wild Hogs are notoriously intelligent and elusive, and every Wild Hog Hunt is a test of patience, skill, and persistence.

The Challenge and Reward of Hog Hunting

Wild Hog Hunting isn’t easy - and that’s exactly why we love it. Some nights, you might spot Dozens of Hogs, while other nights, they seem to disappear entirely. Even when you see a bunch of Wild Pigs, the wind might shift at the wrong moment. A single whiff of human scent, and they’re gone, running into the darkness before you can take a shot.

Hogs are smart, cautious, and always on high alert, which makes Hunting them one of the most challenging pursuits in the field. But it’s that very challenge that keeps us coming back night after night. It’s the thrill of the chase, the rush of Spotting a Hog through the Thermal Equipment, and the satisfaction of outsmarting one of the most elusive animals in the wild.

Why Choose Thermal Hog Hunting?

Thermal Hog Hunting gives Hog Hunters a unique advantage. With cutting-edge Thermal op-tic-s, we can detect the heat signatures of hogs in complete darkness, making it easier to locate and track them in the Farm Fields of South Georgia. This technology doesn’t make the Guided Hog Hunt easy - but it levels the playing field in a way that’s fair and exciting.

Whether you’re a Seasoned Hunter or new to the sport, our Hunting Guides are here to help you navigate every step of the process. From spotting hogs to lining up the perfect chance, we’re committed to making sure you have a safe, enjoyable, and Unforgettable Hunting Experience.

A Hunt That Makes a Difference

Pig Hunting isn’t just a Thrilling Hunting Adventure - it’s a vital conservation effort. Wild Hogs are an Invasive Species that cause millions of dollars in damage to crops, property, and native ecosystems every year. By Hunting them, we’re helping farmers protect their land and controlling the spread of this destructive animal.

Are You Ready for the Challenge?

Wild Pig Hunting is hard. It’s unpredictable, demanding, and not every night will end with a Trophy Boar. But that’s what makes it special. At Pig Problem, we embrace the challenge because we know it’s worth it - for the land, for the farmers, and for the thrill of the hunt.

If you’re ready to experience the excitement of Thermal Hog Hunting in Georgia, we’re here to guide you. Contact us today to book your next Hunting Trip and discover why we’re so passionate about what we do.

Let’s hunt, conserve, and create memories together!

At Pig Problem, we love welcoming back our recurring Hunters, and this recent Thermal Hog Hunt with Guide Clayton was truly one for the books! Night One:

The Perfect Stalks

Photo: Just Wait @PigProblem

There is 3 more pigs but photo won’t upload.

Photo: Pig Pile @PigProblem

Guide Capt Clayton kicked off the adventure with a night filled with exhilarating moments. “Only the guides will understand how tough it is to go on four different stalks in one night and have all of them work out perfectly,” he shared. And work out they did! Each stalk was executed flawlessly, resulting in a phenomenal success rate. Clayton recounted the excitement of watching the Hogs Drop one after another through the Thermal Optics, creating a visual feast for all involved.

“I didn’t really try hard looking for pigs; they just kept popping up,” Clayton remarked with a smile. “The wind and stalks were just too easy every single time.” Nights like these remind us why we love this job: it’s an exhilarating game where the odds are in our favor! On that incredible first night, the hunters managed to take down 10 Pigs—an impressive feat that set the stage for more excitement to come.

Night Two:

Keeping the Momentum Going

Wild Hog Hunts

Photo: ANOTHER ONE @PigProblem

With their adrenaline still high from the previous night, the Pro Hog Hunters returned for round two. On this night, the groove continued as they landed another 8 Wild Hogs, culminating in a total of 18 Piggies taken over two nights! Clayton couldn’t help but express his awe at their shooting skills: “It’s amazing to watch pigs drop instead of them making it to the trees,” he explained.

Each Hog Hunt is not just about the number but the experience shared and the laughter echoed in the night. Guided by Clayton's expertise and the group’s sharpshooting, it was clear that everyone was having an absolute blast.
