This past weekend, Pig Problem Inc. played host to a group of enthusiastic Hog Hunters eager for an action-packed adventure in the wild. Guided by our expert, Kevin, these Hunters experienced two nights of thrilling Thermal Hog Hunting that they won’t soon forget. The excitement kicked off on their first night, where the team successfully took down 6 Wild Hogs. Armed with thermal optics and guided by Kevin's expertise, our Hunters had the perfect setup to navigate the terrain and locate their elusive quarry. The thrill of every Successful Hunt moved them one step closer to mastering the art of Hog Hunting.

An Epic Finish

The second night brought even more success, as our Hog Hunters increased their tally to an impressive 10 Wild Hogs! With every crack of the rifle and the adrenaline pumping, they tackled the challenge head-on, proving their skills and determination. The night was filled with unforgettable moments captured on video, and they are located at the top and bottom of this post.

Good Luck Team SIG SAUER… USA

I own and love my SIG MCX. The SPEAR generation is the best so far with many more variations to come. The Eugene Stoner design has evolved over decades to become what it is today. With the use of suppressors as standard equipment and NFA wait times decreasing there is a need for a next generation system. The refinements and contributions KAC, Noveske, LMT, Geissele, BCM, Colt, and many others are immeasurable to get the design to where it is today. The SIG MCX is designed from the start to be used suppressed, and that is what sets it appart. It is the only carbine that addressed some key issues for the future. The two key improvements are Cam Path Insert and replaceable steel feed ramps. Those two features will keep the carbine in spec longer and has been our biggest culperate for malfunctions over time. Once the anodize coating is worn through, the aluminum wears away faster causing the upper receiver to be out of spec. The worn out cam slot changes the timing of the action and carrier starts to induce lateral movement to the bolt carrier inducing malfunctions. Variable ammo and timing of action can induce feed issue. Cartidges can start peening the aluminum under the barrel extension over time, once feed ramps are worn malfunctions start to multiply. Suppressed weapons even with adjustable gas blocks hammer on internals and these key areas inside the receiver. The low back pressure suppressors of the now have helped tame and reduce timing issues that help minimize upper receiver wear, But the steel inserts added to the major wear areas is the best and biggest game changer for modern suppressed weapons in my opinion. Daniel Horner won the USPSA Multi-gun national championship with an Sig SPEAR-LT in late July. Wish Team Sig USA good luck at the IPSC world rifle championship.

Our Guide Kevin recently led an epic 1-Night Hog Hunt for our valued customers at Pig Problem, and the results are nothing short of phenomenal!

The group of Hunters took down an impressive SIX WILD HOGS during their one-night Hunting Adventure, showcasing the effectiveness of our Thermal Hunting technology and Kevin's expert guiding skills.

The thrill of the Hunt was palpable as our clients worked together to track and harvest these destructive pests. It was an incredible experience, and we're thrilled to have played a role in helping to manage the Wild Hog Population.

For those who may not know, Feral Pigs can cause significant destruction to farmers' crops and property. They can root up fields, damage fences, and even spread disease. That's why we're teaming up with local farmers to offer a Unique Hunting Experience that not only provides a fun and Exciting Hunting Adventure but also helps protect their livelihoods.

Our summer Hog Hunts take place on select farms in the South Georgia, where we'll use Thermal Imaging Technology to Track and Harvest these Destructive Boars. Our experienced guides will lead the way, ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for all participants.
