Night two of this two-night South Georgia Hog Hunt with Pig Problem was one for the books.

Guide Clayton and his Hunters were locked in from the start — moving with precision and patience that made it look like they’d done this a thousand times before. The result? Three Wild Hogs down under the South Georgia night sky.

They almost had a fourth, but that last pig managed to slip into chest-high grass and earned himself a bit of peace for the night. Still, the team couldn’t have asked for a better ending to their Guided Thermal Hog Hunt.

Clayton shared a cool insight after the Wild Hog Hunt: for the last two days, he’s been eating only meat, salt, and water — living like hunters did long ago. “I wanted to feel what it was like to be human before everything got easy,” he said. “And I feel amazing.”

That mindset sums up what Pig Problem is all about — reconnecting with the primal side of Hunting, using modern Thermal Technology and equipment to do what humans have done for centuries: hunt, adapt, and thrive. Just in a 20th century way.

If you’re ready to experience Guided Hog Hunts in Georgia, Pig Problem delivers the real thing — Thermal Hog Hunting, Wild Boar action, and stories you’ll remember for life.

Bachelor Party Hog Hunt in Americus, Georgia

Best Hog Hunting In Georgia

When most people think of a bachelor party, they picture Las Vegas or the beach. But these young guys had a different idea: they wanted a real adventure and came down to Americus, Georgia for a Guided Hog Hunt with Pig Problem.

The night started off quiet, with no hogs in sight for hours. But just before sunrise, around 5 a.m., guide Clayton spotted a Sounder of Hogs across the field. The group made a careful stalk through cut corn — a tricky and noisy terrain that can make it tough to stay undetected. Despite the challenge, they managed to close the distance and set up for a shot.

The hard work paid off. The hunters were able to Protect Local Farmland from Destructive Wild Hogs while making Unforgettable Bachelor Party Hunting memories. Nights like this are exactly why so many groups are choosing Georgia Hog Hunting Trips over traditional bachelor party destinations.

Wild Hog Hunting

Thermal Hog Hunting

This Wild Hog Hunt started off slow, but once the deer started moving heavy, the action picked up. Not long after 1am, they spotted a small sounder of pigs. They made the stalk, got in range, and they got big sow. Guide Kaleb scanned for others that might’ve been hit, but nothing turned up.

Later in the night, they found another Wild Hog, but it kept moving and slipped onto another property before we could get on it.

Great group of guys to have out — good laughs and a solid Thermal Hog Hunt.

Farm Field on a Full Moon

This week, Guide Kaleb led a Father-and-Son Hunting duo on an exciting 2 Night Thermal Hog Hunting adventure.

Night One

Under a bright full moon and cooler temps, the night started with plenty of deer sightings. After a careful stalk, the group located a Sounder of Hogs and successfully harvested two. Later, they spotted another group of Wild Hogs, but it was on neighboring property, so they could only watch from a distance. The crisp breeze and great company made for a memorable first night.

Night Two

The evening kicked off with more deer before the team came across hogs in the second field. Two were secured early on, followed by another quick stalk, though that Hog made it to cover just in time. The rest of the night was quiet, but the father and son left with smiles, already planning their return Hog Hunting Trip next year.

This Hog Hunt also included our Hunting Video Package—stay tuned for the highlight reel coming soon!

At Pig Problem, we specialize in Guided Thermal Hog Hunts in Americus, Georgia, offering Hunters an Unforgettable Hunting Experience while helping local farmers protect their land. Wild Hogs are one of the most destructive invasive species in the country, tearing up farm fields, ruining crops, and causing millions of dollars in damage. Our Wild Hog Hunts give you the chance to put your skills to the test while making a real difference.

The Challenge of Hunting Wild Hogs

Wild Hogs are smart, fast, and unpredictable, making them a tough animal to hunt. They are mostly nocturnal, moving and feeding under the cover of darkness. That’s where Thermal Equipment come into play—our High-End Thermal allow Hog Hunters to detect Heat Signatures, giving them an edge in Spotting Hogs that would otherwise be invisible in the night.

One of the biggest challenges of Hog Hunting is dealing with a Sounder—a Group of Pigs traveling together. When everything rings out, the entire group scatters, turning a well-placed first aim into a chaotic, fast-moving target challenge. These Wild Pigs can hit full sprint in seconds, making follow-up shots a true test of skill. It’s an adrenaline rush like no other.

Just ask Jeff, a longtime customer who knows exactly what he’s doing. He’s one of the best shots we’ve ever had, getting 10 pigs in a single night by himself. That’s the kind of excitement and skill that makes Thermal Hog Hunting so addictive.

Helping Local Farmers, One Hunt at a Time

At Pig Problem Inc, we’re not just about the Thrill of the Hunt—we’re here to help farmers reclaim their land. Wild Hogs destroy crops, root up pastures, and even damage irrigation systems. By targeting these invasive pests, we help reduce the destruction they cause and keep local farms in business. Every Guided Hog Hunt is another step toward controlling the growing hog population.

Come See for Yourself

Whether you’re an Experienced Hunter or trying Thermal Hunting for the first time, Pig Problem delivers an unmatched Hunting Experience. Our Hunting Guides are experts at stopping for nothing to find Wild Hogs, setting up successful shots, and making sure you have a night to remember.

Hunting Pigs In Georgia

Pig Problem

Two Nights in Georgia with Guided by Capt Clayton

Hunting is unpredictable. Some nights, the Pigs are everywhere. Other nights, it’s just you, the fields, and the waiting game. This past 2 Night Thermal Hunt with Guide Capt Clayton had a little bit of everything - some frustration, some bad luck, and ultimately, a couple of successful chances.

Night One:

Wild Hog Hunting

Photo: One Hog Down @PigProblem

The first night out was slow. Real slow. Just one Wild Pig spotted all night long. A Coyote and a Possum crossed our path, but now they can’t do that anymore... The one Hog that did show up didn’t make it out either. Clayton wasn’t feeling his best, and by the end of the night, the only thing on my mind was hoping he wouldn’t wake up sick.

Night Two:

Guided Hog Hunting

Photo: Got Em @PigProblem

The Hog Hunt started with a different kind of loss - Guide Claytons $400 ear protection. After searching high and low, finally he found them… in the washing machine. So now, he gets to spend another $400 replacing something he already had. Gotta love it.

As for the Wild Hog Hunt, the Pigs weren’t exactly cooperative. Only one showed up on there side, and he was sound asleep when they found him. He didn’t stay that way for long. A quick wake-up call, and he was down for good. Meanwhile, the Thermal picked up a whole group of hogs in an orchard where they couldn't step foot. All we could do was watch as they did what Wild Hogs do best - eat and cause destruction.

Now, back home, Peanut Protector Guide Capt Clayton was winding down with some YouTube gum videos, keeping him entertained, and calling it a wrap on another Thermal Hunt. Some nights are packed with action, others test your patience - but that’s the way it goes in the world of thermal hog hunting.

Some Hog Hunts stand out not just for the number of Hogs rehomed but for the way they it goes down. When Guide Zev took four Hunters out for a 2 Night Hunt run, he knew pretty quick - these guys were locked in.

That’s about as high a compliment as you’ll get from him. And it was well-earned.

Over two nights, the team relocated five Wild Hogs. The wind was a problem, shifting when it wasn’t supposed to, costing them some opportunities. But that’s Hog Hunting - adapt or go home. These guys stayed on point, made their chances count, and got it done.

If you want to see what a real Thermal Hog Hunt looks like, book your Hunting Trip with Pig Problem. Bring your A-game, and maybe - just maybe - you’ll get Zev’s seal of approval too.

We recently had the opportunity to host David and Rex for a night of Hog Hunting in Americus, Georgia. Guide Hank led the Hog Hunt, and it was a great experience for everyone involved.

David and Rex are annual Quail Hunters in Georgia, and this year they decided to add a stop in Americus to Hunt Hogs with us. They got on a Sounder and were able to take down three Pigs, which were scattered across the field. We had to drag them all together, which made for a bit of a challenge, but it was a great night overall.

Guide Hank said, "We got some great pigs and shared some good laughs. I’d be happy to hunt them again." We're always happy to have clients like David and Rex, and we're looking forward to their next visit.

2 Nights Of Hog Hunting

The Great Pig Problem:

Lessons from Hank’s Two-Night Hog Hunt

Photo: Nothing Is Better Than This @PigProblem

When it comes to Wild Hog Hunting, every Hunting Trip is a unique adventure, filled with triumphs and challenges. Recently, our Guide Hank led a group of Hunters on a 2 Night Hunting Expedition that certainly delivered on both fronts. Join us as we dive into the highs and lows of this Unforgettable Hog Hunt.

Night 1:

A Roaring Start

Photo: Thermal Hog Hunting @PigProblem

From the moment we set foot in the first field, it was clear that this Hog Hunt was going to be one for the books. Hank recounted one of the loudest stalks he’s ever experienced, as we trekked through the frozen cut corn and melted icy snow. It was a test of patience and skill, but with some determination, we managed to get within 100 yards of the Wild Pigs.

In a flash of adrenaline-fueled action, we successfully secured 3 Pigs before they vanished into the brush, leaving us high on success but hungry for more. The Thrill of the Hunt pushed us onward, and we searched tirelessly throughout the night for additional opportunities to strike. While our efforts did not yield further Piggies, the first night was nothing short of triumphant—a fantastic kick-off to our Hunting Adventure!

Night 2:

The Wild Side of Hunting

Photo: Hunting Coyotes @PigProblem

As dusk fell on our second evening, reality set in. While the first night had blessed us with immediate satisfaction, the second brought a different kind of challenge. Despite our excitement and the promise of what lay ahead, it was a late night filled with empty returns.

Our strategy almost paid off when we saw a Sounder of Hogs just across a neighboring property, but they remained tantalizingly out of reach, teasing us with their presence. Instead, we opted to shift focus and scouted for other opportunities, which led us to a brief encounter with a Coyote. Although we didn’t manage to score a shot, the experience was capitalized with a cool photo that perfectly captured the essence of the Coyote Hunt.

As the night wore on, it became clear that this is the reality of Thermal Wild Hog Hunting: some nights yield incredible success while others put our patience to the test. Hank reflected on the experience, remarking how different things might have been if we’d resorted to baiting or sitting in a stand, but that’s just not our style. We’re a band of hunters who thrive on the wild, unpredictable nature of the chase.

Final Thoughts

Photo: Stalking Wild Hogs @PigProblem

This Pig Problem Guide is more than just a summary of what happened in two nights; it’s a testament to the spirit of Hog Hunting itself. It’s about embracing the exhilarating highs, the frustrating lows, and everything in between. While Hank may not have brought them home a dozen pigs, the memories made and the fellowship shared under the stars are what truly enrich the experience.

So here’s to the next Wild Hog Hunt—a reminder that in the world of Guided Hog Hunting, you never know what will happen next. Until then, stay rugged and keep chasing those Wild Hunts. We wouldn’t have it any other way.

Happy hunting!
