First time Hog Hunting in Americus, Georgia. Grateful they chose us for their first experience Thermal Hog Hunting. We went to the range went over safety, rules, and zeroed all equipment to get them prepared for this hunt. First field they dropped 6 out the sounder. then were able to get another single Boar down. Not to bad for a first time hog hunting.

Due to the lack of interest, having to pay an Editor, and how dynamic a hunt can be we are ending the video package upgrade. We will use the videos to post shorts and compile a video of the hunts possibly each week. All optics will continue to record all shots for insurance reasons so we may offer it again in the future, but at this time we are going to stop offering this service to our customers.

Night 2 of this Georgia Thermal Hog Hunt with Guide Clay was simple, clean, and exactly how a good stalk is supposed to feel.

After covering fields throughout the night, Clay and his hunters finally located a single hog moving alone. Lone pigs are some of the most unpredictable animals in the field — they travel differently, react differently, and don’t always hold still like larger sounders do.

Still, the team moved in quietly, using the wind and terrain to their advantage. A steady, patient approach put them right where they needed to be, and before long, the single was successfully taken — a solid ending to a Hog Hunt that required focus and good teamwork.

Our latest Hog Hunting Trip in Americus, GA was led by guides Clayton and Hank on a split Boar Hunt. While it may look like the same Wild Hog from different angles, it was actually three different hogs taken during Clayton’s part of the night. The Thermal Hunt started off slow, but as soon as the moon dropped around 2 a.m., the animals began to move and opportunities opened up. Every shot taken resulted in a hog on the ground — a true sign of a successful night.

Meanwhile, on Hank’s side of the Hog Hunt, the group had a productive outing but decided to call it a night early, heading in around 4 a.m. Even with no photos, it was still a solid Wild Hog Hunt and a reminder that every group’s pace is different.

This 2 Night Hog Hunt was already a special one, as it marked a young hunter’s 21st birthday. Guide Kaleb led the way, and the excitement kicked off on night one.

Around 1 a.m., the hunters spotted a lone hog in the field. They made a careful stalk, closed the distance, and it came together perfectly—the hog was down right where it stood. The rest of the night stayed quiet, but that single hog made the Birthday Hunt one to remember.

With one hog already on the ground, the hunters are ready to head back out for night two and put in the work again. That’s the thrill of Hog Hunting in South Georgia—every night is different, and every successful stalk adds to the story.

Guide Kaleb knew it was going to be a good Hog Hunt from the start — the group brought great energy, and it didn’t take long for things to get exciting. Around midnight, they spotted a Sounder of Hogs tucked into the tall cotton. Visibility was tough, but the crew worked together and locked in on the biggest one of the group.

As the night went on, things slowed down, but the memories didn’t. The crew swapped Hunting stories, shared laughs, and made the kind of connections that remind us why we do this.
