Some hunters come out once and have a good time.
Others come back — and make every night memorable.

Darrell returned to Pig Problem once again for a two-night hunt with Guide Clay, and Night 2 turned into another standout performance. From the first setup to the final field, Darrell stayed focused, confident, and consistent.

Over the course of the night, Darrell successfully handled Multiple Hog Encounters, navigating singles and groups alike and putting together one of the most productive nights of the season. His ability to stay calm, make smart decisions, and adjust to fast-moving hogs showed exactly why he’s become one of Clay’s favorite hunters to guide.

The conditions made the night even more impressive.
Temperatures dropped hard, freezing the ground solid and turning the fields into concrete. Movement was tough, footing was unforgiving, and every step mattered. Even so, Darrell pushed through and made the most of every opportunity.

Late in the night, after a slip on the frozen ground, the decision was made to call it and head back in — a smart move after a long, successful night in harsh conditions.

Beyond the results, what truly stands out about Darrell is the kind of person he is to Wild Hog Hunt with. Easygoing, respectful, and genuinely enjoyable to be around, he brings great energy to the field every time he shows up. That’s the kind of hunter guides hope will keep coming back — and Darrell already plans to do just that.

Another memorable night in the books with Pig Problem, Guide Clay, and one of our favorite repeat hunters of the season.

Wild Hog Hunting

Some hunters leave an impression the first time they come out.
Others earn a reputation.

Darrell did both — and then came back again in the same week to do it all over.

On this one-night Georgia Thermal Hog Hunt, Guide Clayton and Darrell covered ground and found opportunity after opportunity in the form of three different single hogs. Singles are some of the hardest animals to Hunt — they don’t linger, they don’t bunch up, and they’re constantly moving. Each encounter requires patience, timing, and calm decision-making.

Darrell handled all three encounters flawlessly.
Three setups.
Three clean outcomes.

It was one of those nights where everything clicks — not because it’s easy, but because the hunter knows exactly what they’re doing. The kind of night guides remember, and the kind of hunter guides hope comes back (and Darrell did).

Beyond the field success, Darrell is simply one of those people you enjoy being around. Easygoing, confident, and fun to Thermal Hog Hunt with — the kind of guy who makes the miles, the waiting, and the late hours feel effortless.

Another great night in the books with Pig Problem, Guide Clayton, and one of our favorite repeat hunters of the season.

We’ll be ready whenever Darrell decides it’s time to come back again.

Helping Farmers During Planting Season:

A Night in the Field with Guide Clayton

Hog Hunts In Georgia

Wild Hog Hunts

Planting Season is one of the most important times of year for Farmers in South Georgia—and it’s also one of the most vulnerable times for crops. That’s where Pig Problem Inc steps in, and recently, two Hog Hunters from Atlanta, Ga made the trip south to do their part.

Led by Peanut Protector Guide Capt Clayton, the group set out under the stars with one goal in mind: to help local farmers protect their fields. Clayton described the pair as laid-back, respectful, and enjoyable company.

The night started strong as the team located a small Group of Hogs and made quick work of the opportunity, successfully reducing the number causing damage. A few slipped into the tree line, but the group stayed sharp and kept moving.

Later in the night, they encountered another small Sounder and were able to follow up with more success, again preventing further Crop Destruction. With clear skies and calm conditions, Clayton called it one of the easier nights he’s had in a while.

The teamwork, good attitudes, and steady effort made for an efficient and rewarding experience—not just for the Hunters, but for the Local Farms relying on support during critical planting windows.

Two Nights, Two Different Hunts

A Wild Chase with Pig Problem

Hog Hunting In Georgia

Photo: Big Catch Of The Day @PigProblem

No two nights of Hog Hunting are ever the same, and this Hunting Trip was proof of that. Guide Hank led a 2-Night Hog Hunt that started as a grind but ended with a Pile of Pigs and plenty of fresh pork to take home.

Night One:

The Long Chase and a Foggy Finish

Hog Hunting

Photo: 2 Down @PigProblem

The Pigs were coming out late, but that didn’t mean we were going to give up on them. After a long 1,000-yard walk, we set up on a Sounder of 20 Pigs, got some shots off, and dropped two.

The rest of the night turned into a wild chase—driving from field to field like madmen, scanning through Thermal Equipment, and covering as much ground as possible to find more Hogs. By the time we were walking back to the van, the sun was up, and a thick morning fog had settled over the field, making for a unique and eerie photo to mark the end of the Wild Hog Hunt.

Night Two:

A Complete Turnaround

Pig Hunting

Photo: What A Night @PigProblem

What a difference a night makes. After spending most of the first night waiting and chasing, the second night was all action. The first field we hit was full of Wild Pigs, and the Hunters wasted no time. They took down 6 Hogs in a fast-paced stalk, making every shot count.

The next couple of hours were all about putting in the work—stalking, shooting, dragging, and butchering. Since the group needed to head home, we wrapped things up with a great haul of meat and got them on the road at a decent time.

Three Nights of Hog Hunting with Guide Clayton

Hog Hunting is never predictable, and no nights in the field are ever the same. Recently, Guide Clayton led a 3-Night Hog Hunt that proved just how unpredictable—and exciting—Chasing Wild Hogs can be.

Night 1:

A Momma and Her Piglets

Photo: Momma Down @PigProblem

The first night started off with some action. A Lone Sow and her litter of Piglets made the mistake of stepping into the Hunters’ sights. The team quickly got the mother, but the Piglets, small and fast, scattered into the brush. Shots were fired, but those little ones proved tough. The night was far from uneventful.

Night 2:

Dropping a Sounder

Fun Hunting

Photo: Hunting Wild Hogs @PigProblem

The second night delivered exactly what every Hog Hunter hopes for—a Sounder moving through the fields. The hunters wasted no time and managed to get 3 Wild Pigs, adding to the success of the Hunting Trip. CJ and Noah, feeling the adrenaline, decided to get up close for a more personal picture with their harvest. Excitement was high, and the night was a solid win for the team.

Night 3:

The Silent Fields

Thermal Hog Hunting isn’t always action-packed, and the third night was a reminder of that. Despite covering miles of ground, checking every hot spot, and staying out as long as possible, not a single Hog showed itself. Some nights, the Pigs just don’t cooperate, and this was one of those times. But as every Seasoned Hunter knows, persistence is key—because the next night could bring a Field Full of Hogs.

Three nights, three very different experiences, and another Unforgettable Hunt in the books. Whether the pigs are running or hiding, the thrill of the chase never gets old.

Some Hog Hunts just hit different. That was the case for a recent group who booked a 1 Night Hog Hunt with Pig Problem, led by none other than Guide Clayton. When the night was over, three Wild Hogs were relocated to new homes, and the crew was already making plans to return next year.

As Clayton put it, “Guys were cool as crap, and they’ll be back next year—I’m already excited. I already got a review from these guys for the hunt. Bbbbballin.”

That’s the kind of Thermal Hunt we live for. When the conditions are right, the teamwork is solid, and the action is nonstop, it’s a recipe for a hunter night in the fields. Wild Pigs don’t stand a chance when you’ve got Top-Tier Thermal Gear, Expert Hunting Guides, and a group that knows how to send chances.

At Pig Problem, we don’t just take you Hog Hunting - we take you on a Hunting Adventure. Whether it’s Spotting Wild Hogs through Thermal Equipment, sneaking through fields under the cover of darkness, or stumbling across unexpected treasures, every Hog Hunt has a story.

Recently, Guide Capt Clayton led a 1 Night Hog Hunt for three Hunters who made the trip down to Americus, Georgia, to experience the thrill of Thermal Hunting. And let’s just say, the night did not disappoint.

Three Hunters, Three Hogs

Hog Hunting

Right from the start, these guys were locked in. After a solid game plan and some patient stalking, they got into position and let the thing that relocates the Hogs do the talking. The results? Three Wild Hogs rehomed - two in one setup and another on a separate stalk. That’s the kind of action we love to see.

Of course, a Wild Hog Hunt isn’t just about the chances fired. It’s about the entire experience, and this night had a little bonus surprise waiting in the fields.

A Lucky Find:

Shed Hunting Bonus

Photo: Deer Shed @PigProblem

While leading the group on one of their Hunting Stalks, Clayton spotted something unexpected - a freshly shed deer antler. If you’ve ever Hunted the South, you know how exciting it is to find a good shed out in the wild. It’s a reminder of just how much life moves through these fields beyond the Pigs.

Photo: Clay Is Into Wierd Things… @PigProblem

As it turns out, Clayton has a knack for finding these hidden gems. Over the years, he’s collected quite a few sheds, and to prove it, he showed off a few of his past finds in a way only Clayton can - balancing them on his head like a big ol buck.

At Pig Problem, we love welcoming back our recurring Hunters, and this recent Thermal Hog Hunt with Guide Clayton was truly one for the books! The energy and excitement were palpable as these Seasoned Hunters (who always capture their adventures on YouTube) returned to make more Unforgettable Hunting Memories. After their past successes, which included an astounding 18 Hogs taken in two nights last year, expectations were high, and they did not disappoint!

Night One:

The Perfect Stalks

There is 3 more pigs but photo won’t upload.

Guide Capt Clayton kicked off the adventure with a night filled with exhilarating moments. “Only the guides will understand how tough it is to go on four different stalks in one night and have all of them work out perfectly,” he shared. And work out they did! Each stalk was executed flawlessly, resulting in a phenomenal success rate. Clayton recounted the excitement of watching the Hogs Drop one after another through the Thermal Optics, creating a visual feast for all involved.

“I didn’t really try hard looking for pigs; they just kept popping up,” Clayton remarked with a smile. “The wind and stalks were just too easy every single time.” Nights like these remind us why we love this job: it’s an exhilarating game where the odds are in our favor! On that incredible first night, the hunters managed to take down 10 Pigs—an impressive feat that set the stage for more excitement to come.

Night Two:

Keeping the Momentum Going

Wild Hog Hunts

Photo: ANOTHER ONE @PigProblem

With their adrenaline still high from the previous night, the Pro Hog Hunters returned for round two. On this night, the groove continued as they landed another 8 Wild Hogs, culminating in a total of 18 Piggies taken over two nights! Clayton couldn’t help but express his awe at their shooting skills: “It’s amazing to watch pigs drop instead of them making it to the trees,” he explained.

Each Hog Hunt is not just about the number but the experience shared and the laughter echoed in the night. Guided by Clayton's expertise and the group’s sharpshooting, it was clear that everyone was having an absolute blast.

Capturing the Adventure on Video

Of course, what would a Pig Problem adventure be without a killer Hog Hunting YouTube Video to capture all the action? Unforgettable Nights Under the Stars:

A Recap of Our Recent Hog Hunt

Photo: Nights Like This @PigProblem

As the seasons change and the stars shimmer brightly over the Americus Georgia farm fields, we had the pleasure of hosting an unforgettable 4 Night Hog Hunt for three of our favorite repeat customers: Frank, Paul, and Grover. Guided by the intrepid and passionate Guide Clayton, this Hunting Trip was filled with camaraderie, laughter, and, of course, some Thrilling Hunts. Join us as we recount the highlights of each night and the special bond these Hunters have fostered through their shared love for The Great Outdoors.

Night One:

Setting the Tone for Adventure

Photo: Piggie Down @PigProblem

Photo: Hog Hunting @PigProblem

Photo: He Had To Go… @PigProblem

The first night started with pure joy and excitement as Frank, Paul, and Grover settled into their Hog Hunting routine. These three gentlemen are not just clients; they’ve become friends over the past three years. Their easygoing nature and genuine enthusiasm for each other's company create an atmosphere where everything else fades into the background. They took down three impressive Wild Pigs on this first night—a fantastic start to their adventure!

Photo: Rabies Hog @PigProblem

A particular highlight of the night was the discovery of a Pig that exhibited signs of Rabies. Guide Clayton quickly communicated with Maximus, who confirmed the pig's condition. It’s important to note that pigs can indeed contract rabies, a serious illness that can pose risks to both animals and humans. Grover expressed their relief at having the pig taken down, emphasizing the importance of safety when Wild Hog Hunting. This moment not only illuminated the potential hazards of Wild Hogs With Rabies but also showcased the Hog Hunters’ awareness and respect for Hunting Safety.

Night Two:

Adapting Amidst the Challenges

Photo: Pro Hog Hunter @PigProblem

Night two brought its own set of challenges as Paul and Grover faced some unfortunate stomach issues, leaving Frank to brave the Thermal Hunt solo. Despite this, Frank still managed to bring home three more Hogs, showcasing resilience and adaptability in the face of adversity.

Photo: Killa @PigProblem

One tense moment occurred when they dropped a fourth Piggy from 200 yards away, but the animal managed to crawl just past the tree line—the area where access is limited. In situations like these, it serves as a stark reminder of the unpredictability of the Guided Hog Hunt and the crucial importance of knowing our limits.

Night Three:

"One and Done"

Photo: Last One For The Night @PigProblem

By night three, the atmosphere was electric but tinged with exhaustion. Guide Clayton's only words for the night were “One and done.” It was a night of reflection, with the crew rallying for one Successful Hog Hunt, even if it aimed for a more laid-back experience.

Night Four:

Friendship Rekindled

Photo: Not The Ear @PigProblem

The final night was nothing short of magical. Under the vast South Georgia sky, Frank reminded Guide Clayton of the simple joys in life: taking the time to appreciate the beauty of nature and the company of friends. As they shared stories and soaked up the serenity of the night, they managed to bag two more Wild Piggies.

Photo: Dang Another Ear Shot @PigProblem

As Guide Clayton recounts, “If I’m being honest, I would kill and die for these guys.” This declaration reflects the genuine bond formed over countless nights spent navigating the wilderness together. Friendship blossomed from shared experiences, laughter, and mutual respect for the craft of Hunting.

Hunt #1:

A Promising Start

Photo: Wild Pig Hunting @PigProblem

On a chilly evening, Guide Clayton and his group set out for their first Hunt. They pulled into the first field, and to their delight, a Sounder of Pigs was spotted almost immediately! After carefully positioning themselves, they successfully took down one Wild Pig. It seemed like the night was off to a great start! Unfortunately, after that initial excitement, the rest of the night proved uneventful as the Hunters could only spot a few more Pigs from the roadside—an area that wasn’t accessible for shooting. However, these initial sightings were enough to spark enthusiasm in the Hog Hunters, showcasing the unpredictability and excitement of Thermal Hog Hunting.

Hunt #2:

Professional Pursuit

Photo: Pro Hunters @PigProblem

Photo: Hog Hunting Georgia @PigProblem

The second Wild Hog Hunt was under the skilled leadership of Guide Kevin. His group of Seasoned Hunters headed to what they fondly called "Ben's Field." With sharp eyes and steady aim, they successfully took down an impressive 4 Wild Hogs. But they weren’t done yet! The crew then ventured over to “Sheriff’s Field” and scored one more Wild Hog, bringing their total to five for the evening. This group truly displayed their Pro-Hunting expertise as they navigated the terrain and efficiently tracked down their quarry. Each Hunter walked away with stories to tell and memories to cherish.

Hunt #3:

Bonding Over the Hunt

Photo: This Piggy Didn’t Make It To The Woods @PigProblem

In what could best be described as a special trip down memory lane, Clayton guided two fathers who’ve been friends since childhood. Their mission was simple—introduce their sons to the exhilarating world of Wild Hog Hunting while fostering a friendship akin to their own. The night was cool and crisp, setting the perfect backdrop for their adventure. They only spotted two single Hogs, but the duo was fortunate to drop both of them with ease! With laughter and camaraderie echoing through the fields, this Pig Hunt emphasized the beauty of bonding over shared experiences—especially in The Great Outdoors.
