Guide Capt Max, the owner of Pig Problem, took some time off his busy schedule to lead a Group of Hunters on a Hog Hunt in Americus, Ga. The group consisted of Chris, Mathew, Joe, and Mike, with Chris and Mathew having been Hunting with Capt Max for years, with Mathew starting as a young lad. Capt Max expressed his gratitude for having them back and marveled at Mathew's growth, noting that the senior-year student had truly become a Skilled Hunter. Grateful for the opportunity to share his Passion For Hunting with the group in the beautiful setting of South Georgia.

Go Dawgs!... I Mean Hogs

Guide Hank recounted last nights Wild Hog Hunting excursion where he led a group on a Successful Hunt. Despite facing multiple challenges, they managed to take down one Pig after taking several shots at a Sounder. It took some time for the Wild Hogs to move into a favorable position, allowing them to approach within 100 yards.

A humorous moment ensued when it appeared that one of the Wild Pigs, perhaps a fan of the Georgia Bulldogs, decided to pose for a quick picture session, borrowing a hat before the Hunters could claim their prize. Ultimately, they were able to Harvest The Pork they were after, for a Successful Hunt.

Hog Hunting in Georgia is not just a popular recreational activity, but also plays a crucial role in managing the Invasive Feral Hog Population in the state. Wild Hogs are a prolific and destructive species that can wreak havoc on Agricultural Crops, damage property, and compete with native wildlife for resources.

By participating in Hog Hunting in Georgia, Hunters help Control The Feral Hog Population and minimize the negative impact they have on the environment and local economy. Hunting also provides a sustainable and ethical way to Harvest Meat, as Hog Meat is lean, flavorful, and a valuable food source.

Overall, Hunting Hogs in Georgia is not only a Thrilling Outdoor Adventure but also an important conservation effort that helps maintain ecological balance, protect natural resources, and support the local economy. By participating in Wild Hog Hunting, Hunters contribute to Wildlife Management efforts and ensure the long-term health and sustainability of Georgia's Natural Habitats. Lets be real though. It’s just fun, so book a Hog Hunt with us at Pig Problem.

A pig Pile in Americus Georgai. Shifting winds prevented some of our shot opportunities early in the night but we were able to get onto a sounder and pile them up. Guys brought some of their own equipment and used some of ours. They all had well though out gear and could shoot. They had some cool kid toys that even I was envious of.
