Guide Capt Clay took this group on a 2 Night Hog Hunt in Americus, Ga.

On Night 1: Guide Peanut Protector Clayton found a group of 5 on a newly planted field and decided to stalk them. The moon was so bright that they could see the pigs without the need for Thermal Imaging, about 100 yards away. They managed to hit 2 Wild Pigs, but unfortunately, nothing dropped in the field.

Continuing on, they found another group of 4 Pigs. Just as they were getting ready to shoot, the Hogs started to leave the field and head towards the trees. Despite this, the group was able to take down one of the Wild Hogs. Guide Capt Peanut Protector Clayton led the group through a Successful Hunting Expedition, even under challenging circumstances.

On Night 2: On his second night of Hunting with the group, Guide Peanut Protector Capt Clayton encountered consistent rain throughout the day, which gradually died off around 8pm. Despite the rain clearing, the air remained thick and occasional sprinkles persisted. The fields were extremely wet and muddy, with the fog adding a cool, eerie look to the surroundings under the moonlight and clouds.

Guide Capt Clayton managed to locate and approach two different Groups of Hogs during the night. They successfully took down 3 Pigs from each group. The stalks were challenging, with the long and wet treks through the quicksand-like mud proving difficult. However, despite the tough conditions, the group had a great time and Guide Capt Clay remained determined to Hunt and Eliminate The Wild Pigs. Both groups of hogs were found on freshly planted fields. Which is a no no… The Pig Problem was handled last night.
