Harry & Mario dropped a nice boar last night. We did some day hunting with zero luck, but were able to get a few opportunities on pigs. Glad to have them back on their annual Hog Hunt.

Is Wild Hog meat safe to eat? Yes it is. We will butcher any hog you want even boars if you can stomach them. People eat salad so I know you can eat anything. I personally will eat the sows of any size, and have a great recipe for carnitas. The fields are getting prepped for planting season so we have been packing out the meat. Thanks to Mystery Ranch for making great packs that help us do our job. 14 stacked up for the night. Pretty wild first encounter in the winter wheat had pigs running all over the place. Last encounter we had a baby pig run into the shooting sticks. Epic night of hog hunting for Bruce. Lets see how the pig pile will look tonight.
