Georgia Wild Boar Hunting in Americus, Georgia. Ping flew down with is dad to do a night hog hunt with his dad. First field they were able to get on a small group with one hog going down. After a few more fields being checked they were able to get a single boar down to end the night.
A piece of advice to hunters taking back wild game. We offer field butchering free of charge for as many hogs as you knock down. What we DO NOT offer is gutting of hogs so you can take them whole . Would you let us put a whole hog in the back of your wife’s SUV? Same reason we don’t take whole hogs out of the field! We recommend, getting them quartered up as soon as possible to ensure the meat is fit to consume. This group took the hog whole at the end of the night in the back of the rental . They said they would gut it and deal with it when they got home. Georgia summers can be in the high 90s but with a heat index in the 100s. Consume wild game at your own risk!
