The night of Thermal Hog Hunting required a lot of scouting across multiple properties before we found the action. After a long journey to locate a moving sounder, our patience paid off when a second group emerged in the field. The team successfully navigated the terrain and secured two harvests in the thick brush and open field.
Later in the evening, we located a group of hogs positioned directly under a pivot system. This was a high-stakes scenario that required absolute discipline for this Wild Hog Hunt stalk. We stalked to within 80 yards and waited several minutes until the pigs cleared the machinery. Once they were in a safe opening between the pillars, the team showed incredible marksmanship, securing two more hogs without any risk to the surroundings.
It was a night defined by careful planning and professional execution. We are grateful we got to take this father-son team out in the field and hope they had a great time experiencing Hog Hunting in Americus GA!
