Pulsar is finally releasing a 640x480 12um core with their new Krypton line of optics. Pulsar’s image quality has been incredible with what they have been able to squeeze out of a 640x480 17um core with the addition of NETD <40 mK sensor. I have always asked when will Pulsar would release a 640x480 12um in one of their thermal vision optics, and the time is now.

Introducing the new Krypton FXG50 clip on thermal and Krypton XG50 5x50mm spotter with a American made 640x480 12um core. The new pulsar krypton thermal optics incorporate video, wifi and other feature rich options unavailable from most other thermal manufactures. Does this mean this new 12um core will be available in other thermal optics offered in the pulsar line up? Time will tell but in the 10 years I have been introduced to the thermal hunting game, Pulsar is one of the most end user adaptable companies I have seen to date. More to come once this Product is rolled out so stay tuned.

With the Corona virus (Covid-19) disrupting the world as we know it. We try to make it easy on your decision to book a hunt with us at Pig Problem Inc. Have the piece of mind we offer full refunds on deposits. Here is our booking and cancellation policy.

BOOKING AND CANCELLATION POLICY

  • No funds on deposits, Must be cancelled or rescheduled 30 days before hunt date. Only an electronic gift card for future booking for all refunds.

  • 6% fee for booking online, call to book or email to avoid the fee.

  • NO REFUNDS for “No Shows” or cancelations on the day of the hunt, Card on file will be charged for full hunt.

  • Minimum of 2 hunters to secure a date, maximum of 5 hunters per guide. No Mixed Parties.

  • If Alcohol or Drugs are consumed before the hunt, NO REFUND and NO HUNTING!

  • Equipment malfunctions happen. We supply all necessary equipment, but sometimes they do fail or misfeed. We offer a $50 discount if you bring your own carbine and ammo, we can supply the thermal optic. No refunds or discounts are given if equipment malfunction.

  • We understand the cost and commitment customers take to hunt with us. We want to give 100%, but due to life happening we will now cancel hunts if one of our team members have a death in the family or illness. We will give a 100% refund on deposits or reschedule for a later date.

  • Lodging , travel expense, and Georgia hunting license fees are not refundable by Pig Problem Inc. We recommend booking refundable accommodations and/or 3rd party trip insurance.

  • Unsafe equipment handling, neglect, or unwillingness to take instruction from the guide will end the hunt and No Refund.

  • All fields require all downed hogs to be removed from fields per land owner rules for hunting privileges. The guide will remove all hogs from the field before leaving. It may take the remainder of the hunt to remove hogs from the field. Customers are encouraged to help remove hogs before hunting can commence.

Ever stop shooting because the person next to you is hollering as if they’re being attacked by a wild boar? Come to find out, its just hot brass that made it down their shirt or bounced off their head. There’s no joy being interrupted while laying down fire into a sounder of wild pigs. If you want to stop the human screaming and keep the pigs squealing, Put this on your AR platform carbine or pistol now. It will knock the brass down at your feet and keep your friends or partners safe from the dreadful hot brass moments. It also helps deflect hot gas from the chamber getting to your face as a lefty. The safety of customers is why we use the TC Accessories shell deflector A3 on all our supplied weapons and my personal weapons. We use them with all Pulsar thermion optics and Eotech sights.

The best mount for your Pulsar Thermion XP50

My Favorite mounts for the Pulsar Thermion XP50 are the Nightforce X-Treme duty Ultra Light rings in either 1.5 A203 or 1.375 A110 Height. If you have a full length rail the minimum ring height recommended is the NF A110 rings in 1.375 height. You could use a lower ring height if you have an ALG Defense hand guard without a continuous top rail if you want a better cheek weld. Due to the nature of the Pulsar Thermion XP50 you do not need a cantilevered mount to use this optic as the eye relieve is shorter than a day optic. The plus side is it allows you to use a TC Accessories shell deflector to keep your brass at your feet instead of bouncing off your friends head.

Willie Puskas of PFI Firearms LLC out of Richmond Hill was kind enough to take me out for a night while I was visiting the Savannah, GA area. I have been guiding hunts for sometime now but its always a treat to learn from others that are passionate in the industry. Hunting the wetlands around Savannah is drastically different then hunting the open peanut fields of SW Georgia. We traversed around private logging roads on his custom electric golf cart outfitted for a king. Silently we drove while scanning ahead for thermal signatures until we found suitable targets.
